IMPEACH GEORGE BUSH!! GJ Willis' Art Notes

The Adventures and Misadventures of a Neer Do Well Artist Living in Baltimore.

Name:
Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States

I am a visual artist and writer living in Baltimore. I don't have any artist friends. Frankly, artists scare me, there so darn flaky. The above picture is either of me or proof that I'm a pretty decent artist. My goal is to be a self sufficient artist, whereas I wouldn't have to do something else in the day in order to eke out an existence. I also like to attend various cultural events around town. I go to plays, the symphony, etc. Also, I have Asperger's Syndrome. I found this out recently and it has explained a heck of a lot as to why I am as I am.

EvilDead, originally uploaded by willisgirl.

Yesterday, for the first time ever I watched Evil Dead. I primarily watched it to see what it was about. I also watched because it was the first movie directed by Sam Raimi, the guy who directed the Spiderman movies. It also starred legendary cult actor, Bruce Campbell.

Overall, I did not care much for the movie. The only part of the movie that was good was near the end where you see all this claymation stuff of a decomposing zombie.

Then again I suppose I should not fault the movie too much because obviously it was put together on a shoe-string and there were subsequent sequels. At a later date I will re-watch the movie with commentaries on. Who knows maybe I will develop a better appreciation of the movie after viewing the commentaries... Oh, by the way I also plan on renting the other Evil Dead movies from Netflix.
