The Adventures and Misadventures of a Neer Do Well Artist Living in Baltimore. |

About Me
I am a visual artist and writer living in Baltimore. I don't have any artist friends. Frankly, artists scare me, there so darn flaky. The above picture is either of me or proof that I'm a pretty decent artist. My goal is to be a self sufficient artist, whereas I wouldn't have to do something else in the day in order to eke out an existence. I also like to attend various cultural events around town. I go to plays, the symphony, etc. Also, I have Asperger's Syndrome. I found this out recently and it has explained a heck of a lot as to why I am as I am.

Saturday, December 31, 2005 I spent New Years Eve as I usually do, alone making a gingerbread house. The small ginger bread house I made will slowly be consumed over the next few days. Anyway, while adding candy decorations to the house I was shocked when Dick Clarks New Years Rockin Eve came on with Dick Clark doing the countdown to 2006. I was not sure if I should laugh or feel sorry for him. He sounded like he had cerebral palsy or something. I know that his odd manner of speaking was due to his recent stroke. However, seeing him on TV made me feel very, very, uncomfortable. I feel he should have waited until his speaking voice was more up to par.
