Today, I listened to the UK Official Chart Show with JK and Joel. All in all nothing terribly exciting on the UK charts, except Biggie making it to number one. I suppose this would make him the second hardest working dead man in show business right behind Tupac. Di you know that last year on the UK charts Tupac had a hit song with Elton John? I kid you not!

I suppose the main reason I like to listen to the UK Chart Show is because I can. To the best of my knowledge AT40 (Americas Top 40) is only available via the radio. You can not listen to it on the web not even as a podcast.

My favourite new song that I have heard on the UK Chart Show is the Pharrel Williams song, Angel. The song is very reminiscent of the Amarie song, One Thing. I have to admit that I do not listen to hip hop music much. The reason for this that there is only one hip hop radio station in town. I was more into it when there were two stations in town 92Q and this other station called the X. I feel that since 92Q does not have any competition there is no hip hop variety in town. Musically, its like Russia during the cold war.
