The Adventures and Misadventures of a Neer Do Well Artist Living in Baltimore. |

About Me
I am a visual artist and writer living in Baltimore. I don't have any artist friends. Frankly, artists scare me, there so darn flaky. The above picture is either of me or proof that I'm a pretty decent artist. My goal is to be a self sufficient artist, whereas I wouldn't have to do something else in the day in order to eke out an existence. I also like to attend various cultural events around town. I go to plays, the symphony, etc. Also, I have Asperger's Syndrome. I found this out recently and it has explained a heck of a lot as to why I am as I am.

Today, is my second day of jury duty. The case seems very exciting. I can not give details about the case until it is over.
One thing I can say is that I did not get a chance to eat lunch because we had to be in the courthouse at 1:30pm. However, I bought a fancy dinner with the $15 daily stipend that they pay jurors. I hope that I will still have a job when the case over. I feel nervous whenever I miss work. I should also say right here that I’m off three days next week. I put in for the three days earlier this year in January. So I had no preconceived idea at the time that I would end up getting jury duty and selected to serve on a case a week before my vacation. Luckily, where I work December tends to be a slow month. Then again for all I know work might have picked up in my absence. Every night after I get home I have made it a point to call my supervisor to let her know whether I will be in the next day. I hope that I am not annoying her or that she is drawing up paperwork to hire someone to replace me permanently because I’m out doing jury duty and have three days off next week.
