IMPEACH GEORGE BUSH!! GJ Willis' Art Notes

The Adventures and Misadventures of a Neer Do Well Artist Living in Baltimore.

My Photo
Name:
Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States

I am a visual artist and writer living in Baltimore. I don't have any artist friends. Frankly, artists scare me, there so darn flaky. The above picture is either of me or proof that I'm a pretty decent artist. My goal is to be a self sufficient artist, whereas I wouldn't have to do something else in the day in order to eke out an existence. I also like to attend various cultural events around town. I go to plays, the symphony, etc. Also, I have Asperger's Syndrome. I found this out recently and it has explained a heck of a lot as to why I am as I am.

This morning I almost missed my train. This happened because I walked part of the way to the light rail station. This was completely unplanned. I got on the #20 bus as soon as I saw it. I got on it because it is rare that I see it when it supposed to come. I hopped on the bus not knowing it was the driver who always makes me late. The driver kind of looks like a black older version of Morticia from The Adams Family. I almost wonder if she sleeps in a coffin.

Anyway, as soon as I got off the bus driven by the undead looking woman I made a run for it. I had to do this because it was the only way I could get to my train before it pulled off. I was out of breathe gasping for air when I got within a few steps of the train. The light rail driver said over his intercom to me, "If you want this train you better step up!" So I had no choice but to step up my pace to get the train. Looking back, it was nice of him to wait for me. Other light rail drivers would have pulled off and not said a damn thing.

I was so out of breathe that when I finally got on the train I only had energy enough to plop down on the entryway steps and gasp for air. I ran for about 2 and a half blocks! This I believe is the farthest I have ever ran in my life.

In the end everything worked out. I made it to work on time. However, I will have to make a mental note to avoid taking the bus and stick to walking. I swear that zombie looking driver always makes me late even on the rare occasions that she is on time!

WHAT IM WEARING:
Today, I have on stone washed jeans, Reebok walkign shoes, and a purple turtleneck with a print of leaves on it. I also have on my usual fall jacket.
