I got a rather brusque wrong number phone call today. This of course set me back on my paranoia about sending an email to that guy I went to high school with who has the peculiar last name of Diffenbach. I know I should just relax it was just one phone call so I can assume it really was just a wrong number.

The other reason for my startlement was that last week I got one of those phone line splitters because I got tired of David and the rest of my family complaining that they could never get in contact with me on the phone because I was constantly hooked up to the internet. So now my one phone line is simultaneously hooked up to the internet and to my telephone. For the first time in 3-4 years I actually can hear the sound of my telephone ringing....and it’s really creeping me out.

On an up note I saw The Matrix yesterday. I really loved it. I’m still analyzing the message of the movie. I love seeing movies that make you think. Just for the hell of it I think I’ll tell Brian my supervisor at work how much I liked Keanu Reeves in the movie and how I feel that Keanu is the best actor of his generation. I know this will set him off. For some reason he feels that Keanu is a no talent nitwit who lucked into acting. I have to admit that I feel the same way but I’ll never admit to that. It’s more fun watching Brian boil over livid in anger over small insignificant things. I’m sure one day he’ll keel over from a heart attack. Right now I think I should clarify that, no, I'm not trying to quietly drive my Supervisor to having a heart attack nor am I rooting for him to have one.

On another gigantic up note, I’m getting a car finally! However, I don’t have a driver’s license..yet. Yes, I know I’m 33 years old and do not possess a drivers license, so sad... But in 2-4 weeks I’ll have one and hopefully soon will be kissing my job in Hunt Valley adios!
