SUNDAY CHURCH DAY
Today I went to church. Like last Sunday and the Sundays before that I was 15 minutes late. I came in at the same time Valerie and Allen were arriving. The sermon today was done by Doreion. I had always wondered how he would do a sermon. It seems every year after the Christmas eve service he gets to do the first service of the new year.

His sinuses were acting up and he had a tissue at the ready. It was kind of distracting watching as he blew or wiped his nose during the sermon. He bused in the Capital Coral singers. I wish they sang more rousing songs. There appearance substantially increased the population of young black people in the church that morning.

His sermon was very rousing at first I thought it was going to veer in a direction that I was not into then it ended in a direction I felt comfortable with. It had something to do with conviction of your beliefs. At the end he asked, what do you believe? I felt that was kind of neat and open ended.

Before I went to Church I bought calendars for 2008 online. I hope they will arrive before the end of the week. Also when I got home I watched the last episode of Pushing Daisies where it was revealed that one of Chuck’s Aunts is in fact her mother.
