The Adventures and Misadventures of a Neer Do Well Artist Living in Baltimore.
I am a visual artist and writer living in Baltimore. I don't have any artist friends. Frankly, artists scare me, there so darn flaky. The above picture is either of me or proof that I'm a pretty decent artist. My goal is to be a self sufficient artist, whereas I wouldn't have to do something else in the day in order to eke out an existence. I also like to attend various cultural events around town. I go to plays, the symphony, etc. Also, I have Asperger's Syndrome. I found this out recently and it has explained a heck of a lot as to why I am as I am.

FEELING A BIT STRESSED
Today, I took the day off I felt stressed with the knowledge that my father is essentially committing suicide by not getting any medical help to alleviate his symptoms. I never knew that until I read a chapter on old age in a Psychology book. Had no idea what he was doing could be considered as a form of suicide. We have to get him out of that room! Why did he decide to lock himself away? How come he never renewed his drivers license?
Also sadly this morning I woke to the news that NBC has decided not to give Journeyman a back nine order. This in effect means that they have cancelled Journeyman.
It was a family show! I have no idea why they had it scheduled for 10pm at night. Seemed like it would have been better off at 8 or 9PM. Also NBC never seemed to promote it much. Its surmised that the reason is because it was owned by FOX and the current Fox head recently left NBC and there could be a grudge against FOX productions on NBC. Never the less I will join in the Journeyman campaign and mail in a box of Rice a Roni to NBC.
If mailing peanuts worked for Jericho maybe Rice a Roni could work to save Journeyman. If the writers strike lasts past January it will leave NBC little time to come up with a new season for 2008. Pilots are usually written in January. So maybe just maybe they might reconsider....
